It’s finally here, the last day of the working year for Liquid11 Data and before we close up for the year, we thought we’d take a look at what 2014 has been like for the Data World and what we can expect in 2015.

Data in 2014

This year has been a fairly important year for data, if not a particularly great one. The reason for this, as we all know, is that our whole industry is working in the shadow of the looming EU Data Protection regulations.

In an effort to raise awareness of this issue we launched www.takeastand.eu in January. We launched it with the aim of educating people to the coming changes and hopefully driving traffic to our ePetition. On the first of those goals we had quite a bit of success, but unfortunately the ePetition didn’t do quite so well.

But we didn’t stop there, in an effort to get ahead of the coming changes we also met with our local MP and one of our MEP’s to discuss the implications of these coming changes.

2014 hasn’t been all doom and gloom though. This was the year that we introduced our Pay Per Call lead generation model to generate sales via print media. Basically we offer our customers the chance place adverts in local newspapers across the country and only pay for the calls that they receive directly from those adverts. So for at has proved to be a big success for our customers.

Liquid11 data has continued to grow, providing the best data in the UK to many more UK based call centres running various campaigns.

 

Data in 2015 – What’s coming?

The first thing we have coming in 2015 is our new Mobile Verification product which we will be launching early next year. Many of our customers have been looking forward to this day and it’s finally coming so it’s time to start getting excited. The new website will allow customers to purchase credits online, set up auto top-ups and take advantage of some of our most up to date offers as soon as they become available.

We will be issuing a new Due Diligence pack to new clients detailing our data processes, complaints procedures and tips on how to get the most out of our data.

2015 will also see us focusing more heavily on some of our existing data related products such as VeriDial, SMS Traffic Herding and Mobile Goneaways. We will be marketing these products more heavily to ensure that more people get the chance to take advantage of these amazing services.

Finally, we of course will be monitoring the developments around the EU Data Protection legislation very closely and will insure that all of our clients are kept informed of any upcoming changes.
